Resources: For Arborists
- Urbanwood Network Membership Agreement for Wood Generators This document serves as a Membership Agreement between Recycle Ann Arbor, the Southeast Michigan Resource Conservation and Development Council, the Urbanwood Project, and the wood generator named as a participant in the Urbanwood Network.
- Urbanwood: A Better, Sustainable Option for Removed Trees We know that wood disposal can be challenging and expensive for arborists and managers of urban and community forests. You've heard that logs from city trees can't be used for anything but mulch or fuel. This simply isn't true. Our partners can show you how city trees can still be made into everything from rough lumber for maintenance projects to beautiful, high-end flooring. All it takes is a little advance planning, and we can help you work out an efficient system to sort and handle logs so that your removed trees can find new life.
